Sure, the issue was trying to sync between the different sync versions you outlined here: [Bug]: atuin does not sync correctly · Issue #2406 · atuinsh/atuin · GitHub

If a sync never completed after importing, then you’re OK to delete all local Atuin data and re-sync. If it did complete, then you’ll have duplicate data synced up to your account.

womp, and there is no way to dedupe, right?
