ctrl-r is terribly useful, but not well advertised.
One needs to dig into the doco to find the key bindings: Redirecting to docs.atuin.sh/latest/configuration/key-binding/
Could the hit be placed at the top of the screen?

I’m not super sure about adding more things to the top bar (it becomes cluttered really fast, collapses on narrow terminals, etc)
But I am considering adding a “hint” bar to the bottom, displayed when the preview section is not in use. It’s then super easy to suggest things like ctrl-r
