Don’t know how long it’s been there, but today I suddenly noticed “inspect” for the first time
I have the following feedback:
- I wanted to know the directory a command was run from, but using inspect, I could still not see it because the path was too long. I suggest allowing multi-line there.
- I saw “previous” command and tried to navigate left to see the command before that, but it doesn’t work like that (yet)
In general, when seeing this TUI, I expected to be able to jump between the panels using tab and use the arrows to navigate within a panel, like you have with yast for example.
After searching my history, I was hoping to see the surrounding commands and that’s how i found inspect. But maybe it’s better to have an action “jump to command in history” which would clear the filter, jump to the command and highlight it, allow you to see (and navigate) all surroundings commands. What do you think?
thanks for the great tool, it’s indispensable for anyone using a terminal
